Thank you for another successful week of distance learning as we enter into the first week of March. Next week is Reading Week, so please refer to this LINK concerning Reading Week Spirit Days. We look forward to seeing all of our silly readers on Monday! Starting Monday, March 1st, there will be no Food Distribution Sites at elementary school parking lots. Food Distribution Sites will be available at middle school parking lots from 7am - 11am, and high school parking lots from 10am - 2pm. Thank you for another successful week of distance learning. The Southern Nevada Health District is working on COVID-19 vaccine planning and collaborating with CCSD on future vaccine distribution. Attached to this email is a flyer with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Also attached is our Virtual Holiday Sing-Along Trailer! Also, the annual Districtwide Survey for parents and guardians will be open today, November 13th, through December 18th. You can find this survey below, including on our website and Facebook page. Thank you for another successful week as we begin to get into a groove with distance learning. Congratulations to our pizza and bicycle winners during this week’s virtual spirit week. I’m already looking forward to the next one! For 1st through 5th graders, don’t forget to sign-up for our Leopards Club, where our before and after school tutoring and clubs will be available virtually. Happy Friday Long Elementary School Families, thank you for another successful week of distance learning! Just a reminder, there is no school Monday. When we return to distance learning on Tuesday, it’s our first virtual spirit week of the year! Please see the attached flyer. During spirit week, I will randomly select a family each day to receive a pizza delivery right to your front door. I will also be giving away multiple bikes! In order to qualify, all students have to do is show up to the Live Meets with their teacher, dressed in their spirit day ensembles! With that said, we look forward to seeing all of you, virtually, next week Tuesday. So in the meantime, have a fantastic 3-day weekend!

Happy Friday Long Elementary School Families, thank you for being part of such a successful first week of distance learning! Everyone from our students, teachers and families, exhibited patience, perseverance, and successes this week. This could not have been possible without your ongoing support and encouragement day in and day out. Tell your friends and neighbors that we are continuing to enroll for this new school year. All of our students are eligible to receive an iPad, school supplies, breakfast, lunch, and a dedicated staff of educators to meet their social growth and academic needs. We were so glad to see so many excited faces earlier today at our Open House/Meet & Greet and look forward to seeing everyone for the first day of distance learning this upcoming Monday. Long Elementary school is a food site, which means that we will have a drive-through and walk-up food pick-up everyday, Monday through Friday from 7am till 10am.
